The Swedish Society of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (SKAP: Sveriges kompositörer och textförfattare) rewards every year some of the most creative and innovative Swedish artists across all music genres and has announced this year's winners yesterday, October 23rd. Henrik Palm has been granted an award for distinguishing himself as a multi-talented artist (multibegåvningspris):
SKAP comments about their decision explaining that Henke is "[...] a music creator who avoids clichés and instead seeks new ways in both hard and more experimental rock, also involved in different ways in the most style-defining alternative rock bands."
A description that couldn't ring truer to anyone who has listened to Henke's music throughout the years, both as part of different bands and as solo artist: well deserved recognition!
