Blast! from the Past: Hellfest 2014 special

Ten years ago on June 22nd, 2014 In Solitude played at Hellfest in Clisson (FR) a fervent, intense and soul-stirring concert.

In today's post we look back at that show through photos, quotes, videos from the crowd and memories which will never be lost.

Back at the time, Henke was asked what he liked about Hellfest.


He answered that:

  "We’ve played some big stages at festivals but never on the main stage. It’s one of those festivals I always want to go to. So I’m looking forward to it. I’m bumped up we can’t stay for the whole festival but I’m glad I’ll get to see Sabbath […] I’m always super impressed by the line-up at Hellfest. The people are always so clever at finding what people actually wanna see. They manage to mix Status Quo and Repulsion, you know: it’s very unique. Inside this big festival, you have all these small festivals, that’s what I like about it." - (Interview formerly published on Hellfest's official website, 2014).
