Swedish band Katatonia has announced that due to visa issues their guitarist Nico Elgstrand will not be able to play during their North American tour, however none other than our favourite misantropisk noiserocker Henrik Palm will step in on guitar and we are sure he is going to be a really fantastic addition to the band!
Katatonia has explained on their official page:
"Due to visa complications, Nico is unfortunately unable to join us on guitar for this run in North America.
We’re very pleased to welcome Henrik Palm, who’ll be covering guitar for the shows in Nico's absence. Henrik is a phenomenal musician and we’re excited to have him bringing his energy and experience to the stage with the band."
Henrik commented:
”Im very honored to take the guitar duties with Katatonia on the upcoming North American tour! As some of you might know I’ve done a couple of albums with Daniel Moilanen in the past and present so finally me and him can do a proper tour together. Playing the music of Katatonia is a new and challenging experience for me so fingers crossed I don’t mess up too badly. Hell awaits!"
You can find all North American tour dates on the band's official website.
