Listening to this album, feels a bit like walking into a dimly lit, smokey bar with wooden furniture cracking and faces in the dark that you can't really see, but you know they are staring at you. A fortune teller awaits across the room, and by the time you're getting close to see what cards have been drawn to see your destiny, you wake up and it was just a dream...or was it?
So the atmosphere of the album makes it seem like you have come to a strange, unknown place which appears somewhat uncanny, but once you're there you realize you are there to seek within yourself, to seek yourself.
Musically offering some fascinating passages of surf and psychedelic rock, "Daimon, Devil, Dawn" is enriched with some visionary lyrics, which come, like the album cover artwork, beautifully rendered by talented artist David S. Herrerías.
To all of us here appreciators of In Solitude and of The Devil's Blood, the last track, "A New Dawn", easily stands out, with a striking solo and an infusion of hard rock which propels even more energy into the song - a new dawn rising, indeed.
