WATAIN announce live album and share new video for "Before the Cataclysm"

After their recent 25th anniversary show ticket frenzy and the unveiling of two amazing opening acts such as PÅGÅ and Void of Voices, WATAIN today have just disclosed even more news: the release of a new live album titled "Die in Fire Live in Hell", recorded in Stockholm during their "Agony & Ecstasy Over Europe" tour, due out on November 3rd, 2023 on on CD and LP via His Master's Noise and Nuclear Blast Records.
As tight and wild as WATAIN are on stage, a live album is a perfect release to convey in a lasting format this musical force they unleash in the live environment!



"Die in Fire Live in Hell" will be released on two versions: Gold and Blood vinyl (a limited Wolf Wear edition) and on Sulphur and Blood vinyl (the regular edition). They are already available for pre-oreder at THIS LINK.

Additionally, a new music video for their song "Before the Cataclysm", taken from the live album and directed by Johan Bååth, has also been shared today: skillfully conveying WATAIN's raw and primal essence through high image posterization as well as accurately portraying their traditional and scorching approach to Black metal through blurred and burnt tints, the video is a perfect match to the music and carries the eyes of the listener towards the same realm as that of the sound.
