Some days ago we stumbled upon some captivating photos of his show and something about these shots really stuck with us: the noisy feel, the velvet-like texture of their shades, the inspired angles, everything in these images seems to speak of Lukas' music so well. A sort of uncanny calm - which is violent yet placid at the same time.
So, we contacted the talented photographer who took them, Miriam, to ask her permission to publish the photos. She kindly agreed and sent us her photographs, which we are really glad to share with all the readers and Lukas' listeners.
The Devil is in the details, as the saying goes, and so is Blues music: these images let us appreciate that in a really fascinting way.
For a more comprehensive experience, we listened to Lukas' album "Folkmord I Ting" while browsing the gallery, and strongly recommend doing so - the title of the album, as you might recall, is also translated in English as "Genocide In Objects" and perhaps, that's also somehow what is reflected these photos, too.
