No Future live at Pelago: moments from the show + full set audio recording

No Future live at Pelago

No Future have recently played their album release show at Pelago in Stockholm, a show that has been described by the people who were there as one of the most unforgettable and striking concerts they have seen: we are sure that's an accurate description and are really glad for all the listeners who have been able to partake!

For those who couldn't be there (just like us, by the way), but also for anyone who was there and wants to see some memories from the show, we are gathering in this page some photographic contributions we kindly received in these days (all due credits below, next to the respective images).

It is also possible to listen to the audio recording of the full show, courtesy of Under the Sun Fanzine (who, as you all might recall, has just published a new issue that features an interview with No Future, and with WATAIN too: more about the zine and how to order it, in this article.)

Photos of the merchandise and of the setlist are also available courtesy of Under the Sun Fanzine.

We will update this post if / when we receive further images and clips from the show, meanwhile thank you all so much for sharing these memories of the concert!

Tornado of Blades: a photo gallery of Obnoxious Youth live In Jena

Masters of filth Obnoxious Youth have recently concluded their Flames Licking Savage tour across Europe, and we're sure that all those who have taken part in their shows certainly have disgustingly enjoyed all the loudness, sweatiness and speed metal madness they deliver on stage...well, here are some killer shots that will take you back to that putrid heavy metal orgy that is Obnoxious Youth live in concert!

Dark like Torrents of Black Blood and sharp like a Tornado of Blades: join us watching this gallery of photos filled with moments of insanity and don't forget to blast Obnoxious Youth's latest album "Burning Savage" as soundtrack!
All shots are analogue photos courtesy of Miriam Saskia Beer - @misabeee on Instagram (thank you!), taken at Obnoxious Youth's show in Jena on November 30th, 2024.

Genocide in Objects: a photo gallery of Lukas Häger live in Linz

Last month, Lukas Häger performed his solo guitar live set in Linz, on February 14th, 2024, as part of his tour with Gnever, organized by Absurde Rituale.

Some days ago we stumbled upon some captivating photos of his show and something about these shots really stuck with us: the noisy feel, the velvet-like texture of their shades, the inspired angles, everything in these images seems to speak of Lukas' music so well. A sort of uncanny calm - which is violent yet placid at the same time.

So, we contacted the talented photographer who took them, Miriam, to ask her permission to publish the photos. She kindly agreed and sent us her photographs, which we are really glad to share with all the readers and Lukas' listeners.

The Devil is in the details, as the saying goes, and so is Blues music: these images let us appreciate that in a really fascinting way.
For a more comprehensive experience, we listened to Lukas' album "Folkmord I Ting" while browsing the gallery, and strongly recommend doing so - the title of the album, as you might recall, is also translated in English as "Genocide In Objects" and perhaps, that's also somehow what is reflected these photos, too.

Saturnalia Temple, Lukas Häger and UnoX live in Brussels - moments from the show

This past Saturday, Saturnalia Temple have played in Brussels the release show for their album "Paradigm Call", alongside Dread Sovereign, Lukas Häger, and UnoX.

It was also the debut of Pelle and Gottfrid Åhman as part of the new live line-up of Saturnalia Temple, so definitely a special occasion - since the change in the line-up was announced some months ago, there has certainly been a lot of anticipation to see this exceptional trio on stage!

So we are gathering here some first impressions which have appeared on the web so far (unfortunately, IG stories disappear after 24 hours, so the clips which were posted in that -ugh- format, can't be accessed anymore).

Hopefully there will be more, including some of Lukas Häger and UnoX, too; we will be updating this post if anything else appears in the next days.

Saturnalia Temple's new album "Paradigm Call" is out on March 1st, 2024 on Listenable Records - available at this link!

Gallery: Concrete Winds live at Oslo Deathfest - Dec. 2nd, 2023

Aggressive noise tormentors Concrete Winds have recently performed at Oslo Deathfest their last gig of 2023, on December 2nd and courtesy of Thomas Moe Ellefsrud / Buzz Photography we have some photos of their set that convey very well the vitriolic harshness of their live shows.
Hell can be shot in your ears at the speed of rage and that's exactly what you get when they are playing.
We have read quite a few times online people commenting about Concrete Winds sounding even better live than on record: sure enough, as much as we also like their albums a lot, we have to agree with this. They do sound killer on record of course, but in the live setting they deliver like there's no tomorrow and like we have often said in the past too, there's so much more savagery, speed and urgency in their live performances that take indeed everything a step beyond. (Well, they are also tight as fuck which of course is a bonus).
That being said, hopefully for all of us maniacs there will be more chances to see them live in the next year and meanwhile have a look a these moments from Oslo Deathfest - thanks Thomas once again for sending us these shots!

New photo gallery: "Because Music is about...losing perspective"

A new photo gallery has been added on Unearthed Mirrors: "Because Music is about...losing perspective" is a photo essay which is meant as a celebration and exaltation of possibly one of the most powerful aspects of music, a feature which actually makes music extreme in the broader sense of the term and regardless of its genre. Read more about it and watch the gallery HERE.
