A Surface Catching Fire: a photo gallery of No Future live at Pelago

On August 16th, 2025 No Future have played the release show for their debut full-length "No Future" at Pelago in Stockholm, and, after sharing some moments from the show and the full audio recording in this previous article, we are now returning to talk about this show as we have the chance to see it also narrated through the lens of Astrid Bergdahl, who kindly allowed us to publish these cool shots she took at the concert.

The gallery also includes intriguing close-ups which catch the eye with relevant details as well as some dynamic shots which convey the wild and shape-shifting essence of No Future's music, particularly live.

Hopefully, these images can offer a glimpse of No Future's show also to anyone who, just like us, couldn't be there in person - but certainly was there with the heart!

Savage Interferences: a photo gallery of Concrete Winds live at Chaos Descends

Aggressive noise tormentors Concrete Winds have recently unleashed their unhinged fury live at Chaos Descends in Crispendorf (DE), on July 19th 2025 and here we have some really well captured photographs of their appearance at the festival.

Unrelentingly black and white, grim and rough, these images accurately document that when Concrete Winds hit the stage, Death metal truly can not be distinguished from a demonic possession. And as the ignominious butcher strikes his blade on the listeners, no one can hear them scream above the SOUND OF WALL!

All photos are analogue shots by @murphyslavv - more photos from Chaos Descends and more captivating photography on her Instagram profile.

Concrete Winds' third album is out now on Sepulchral Voice Records and can be ordered physically at High Roller Records, digitally on their Bandcamp. Official Concrete Winds page on: Facebook

In a strange glade: a photo gallery of No Future & Lukas Häger live in Helsinki

No Future live in Helsinki
by Riku Hyötyläinen

No Future rarely play live, this we all know very well: they may remain silent, or at least so it seems from the outside, for a long while, but what happens in their inner cosmo of creative minds remain behind the curtains and then at one point, they reappear like an unexpected spring of water among the rocks, you didn't see it before but now it's there.
And so it happened also this time, in September of last year when, after about 8 years from their previous show, they announced two live dates in Finland in February 2025: then it was only a matter of a few weeks until they premiered their song "Motherhood", which immediately carried the listeners back into their peculiar and bittersweet atmosphere, making it seem like no time had really passed since their previous release.

A No Future show is then, as we were saying, a strange and rare occasion, and additionally, this time Lukas Häger (who also plays guitar in No Future) was opening both shows, further enriching the evenings with his captivating solo guitar live set.
So, when we saw some striking photographs of their live appearance in Helsinki (shout out to Club Lupercalia not only for organizing the event, but also for sharing some of these images), captured by talented photographer Riku Hyötyläinen, we felt right away that we had to ask his permission to feature them here on Unearthed Mirrors.

Sound of Wall, Visions of Hell: a Photo Gallery of Concrete Winds live in Berlin

After sharing some footage from Concrete Winds' concert at Wolf City Festival in Berlin on September 7th, 2024, we are thrilled to be able to publish here also some skilfully captured analogue shots by talented photographer murphyslavv - these striking photographs, with their uncompromising shades of black and their almost abrasive texture, match very well the violence of Concrete Winds' ruthless live performance and we think they make for a very accurate visual account of their live set.

The last two photos also show a couple of moments of the calm before the storm: those who have been there at their shows, waiting for the violence to begin, know very well how those minutes before it begins are absolutely loaded to the brim with impatience and raw energy ready to be unleashed, which is why we found these shots to be a perfect way to close the gallery: once the music ends, the silence is just waiting for the next sonic assault.

All photos are analogue shots by @murphyslavv - all on Kentmere 400 pushed to 3200 iso.

Concrete Winds' third album is out now on Sepulchral Voice Records and can be ordered physically at High Roller Records, digitally on their Bandcamp. More distros and shops carrying the record are listed IN THIS POST.

These shots manage to capture very well the atmosphere and are able to convey that same sense of blurred boundaries between the seen and the unseen that Saturnalia Temple's music often instills in their listeners.
