WATAIN announce PÅGÅ and Attila Csihar's Void Ov Voices as opening acts to their 25th anniversary show
After selling most tickets in a unbelievable short time, WATAIN have now unveiled the musicians who will open the evenings in Uppsala for their 25th anniversay shows: and what an amazing combination of artists they have invited!
None other than Pelle & Gottfrid Åhman's PÅGÅ is the first special guest announced!, and WATAIN has commented:
"The brothers, also from Uppsala, have shared the road with Watain many times in their old band In Solitude, and since their disbanding they have continued further on their own crooked path, dense with magic, music and mystery. And those things are also what you one might expect from their appearances on November 3rd and 4th."

Hundkloaken from Uppsala takes us in the night side of ambient
A really captivating piece of noir ambient/bluesy jazz has been unveiled today on End All Parties: the song, titled "Gas Station & Half Moon" , belongs to a previously unheard band named Hundkloaken (Swedish for "dog" + "sewer" , as they explain in the description), founded in the Winter of 2021 and featuring members from some of our all time favourite bands from Uppsala: Pelle & Gottfrid Åhman (of course of In Solitude / Invidious / PÅGÅ / No Future...), Lukas Häger: (Spine of Reveal! / No Future / End All Parties) and John Sijbren Leonard (of Dictator Ship).
Music here is more of a storyteller, a narrator in the shadows who is only waiting for someone to listen and become a auditory witness to his story.
With its hazy and evocative mood, it makes for a perfect company to a contemplative summer night.
Hundkloaken is:
John Sijbren Leonard on Cornet
Pelle Åhman on Drums
Lukas Häger on Guitar
Gottfrid Åhman on Guitar and Bass
We recommend using your headphones to fully immerse in the gloomy atmosphere of the song.

WATAIN announce celebrative show in their hometown

"Traditionally, valborgsmässoafton – Eve of the Valborg Mass – is when the Devil’s children gather in celebration; a time of fire and rapture, magic and ecstasy, Death and Rebirth. Precisely what this event of ours is intended for", explains the band in the official announcement, published earlier today.
The event will be in the form of an all-encompassing festival, gathering under the banner of WATAIN other bands, craftworks, art, food and beverage, and according to the announcement, it will also be the last chance for quite some time to see the band performing in Sweden.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning, January 11th, at 9:00 am CEST, on Tickster.com, an official event page has been set up at this link. More details are expected to be disclosed in the next weeks. May it be a fiery night of celebration for all those who will attend this special event!
The other two shows will be appearances at Hellfest 2020 in July, and Psycho Las Vegas in August.
