This Autumn, there are so many excellent releases to look forward to that we decided to make a playlist to recap them all and make it easier to blast all the tracks that have already been premiered so far from these upcoming albums, while waiting to hear them in their entirety! The selection also includes some songs from two great albums which are going to be repressed this Autumn: Henrik Palm's "Many Days" and Maggot Heart's "Mercy Machine". Enjoy!

Stream "Concrete Antichrist", first single off Henrik Palm's second album!

"Poverty Metal", is due out on October 16th, 2020 on Svart Records and the tracklist appears to be as follows:
"Bully"
"Sugar"
"Concrete Antichrist"
"Given Demon"
"Destroyer"
"Nihil"
"Nihilist"
"Last Christmas"
...Sounds like a fairly apocalyptic list of titles. And most of us are surely looking forward to hearing them all, but today it is nothing less than "Concrete Antichrist" that we get to meet first!
As a foretaste of what's to come, it certainly sounds like a very interesting premise. Hints of prog rock and a bittersweet taste give the song a really intriguing feel, and it truly showcases well Henke's talent in blending several influences to create his own unique style.
"Poverty Metal" is now available for pre-orders, alongside plenty of new merchandise, at the Trust No One Recordings webshop, which has on sale a limited edition of 150 copies on clear vinyl; the album can also be pre-oredered at the Svart Records Store on CD and on vinyl (red or regular black).
Svart Records is also reissuing Henke's debut solo album "Many Days" on clear vinyl and on CD.

Interview: Henrik Palm about his second album, signing with Svart Records, and more

Indeed, when his debut album, "Many Days", was released on Gothenburg label FETISH, it instantly became an all-time favourite of many of his listeners, finally able to enjoy his talented songwriting, his wide-ranged influences and his guitar skills complementing each other brilliantly in a solo environment which allowed him to fully express himself. And it also immediately gained him several new followers, captivated by the album's nods to punk, to noise rock as well as to industrial and experimental music, all of these blended together skillfully, at the same time creating a strange, dark in its very own way atmosphere throughout the whole record.
Now, he has recently completed his second solo album, titled "Poverty Metal", and he has teamed up with Finnish label Svart Records, that will release it in Fall 2020, alongside a reissue of his debut album. We're all eager to hear what this new record will be like and he has been so kind to answer some questions for all of us, so today we're incredibly excited to offer you this first-hand insight into Henke's upcoming album: from how his experience working on "Poverty Metal" differed from the previous one, to his creative process, from movies which have inspired him, to the new deal with Svart Records, and last but not least, some music and film recommendations: you can read it all below!

Interview with Henke on Sweden Rock magazine
"In Solitude is the most beautiful thing I've ever done"
(Henke Palm, Sweden Rock magazine, September 2017)
The September issue of Sweden Rock magazine features an interview with Henke about his solo project and his musical career. For all the Swedish-speaking readers, it's possible to buy the magazine on Swedenrock.com .
For all of us non-Swedish speaking followers, an English recap of it can be read below, with special thanks to Vervain for providing a translation of the text and sharing it with all of us, along with a picture of the page.
After briefly pointing out that Henke has previously stated he is not going to comment on the lawsuit involving the band Ghost (whom he has played with during 2015 and 2016) and some of its ex-members, the interview starts off focusing on his solo album, "Many Days".
Henke explains that the record has been growing since 2014, and started while having fun rehearsing with Benke (Höckert, bass; also member of Pig Eyes and Södra Sverige) and Tor (Sjödén, drums; of the band Viagra Boys). Two songs took shape at that point, and he had the idea of recording a single. After playing for quite a while with Mattia Alkberg (Södra Sverige) he has always been impressed by musicians who release music under their own name, and since he considers himself rather shy, that seemed quite a daring thing to do, so initially he didn't think it would have suited him, but with time it began to feel right, he explains.
So, in 2016, he did the first demos with Tor on drums and there was originally the intention of calling the project with another name,
